Isolite™ - Safety in the ceiling

The Isolite™ Guard is the primary downlight housing that totally encloses and seals 12 volt downlight globe fittings providing fire prevention in out of sight/out of mind zones. It is a high temp fire resistant barrier to combustible materials in your ceiling. This easy to install DIY/RETRO-FIT enclosure provides safe thermal resistance over the downlight. It allows much greater insulation cover and stops draughts and energy loss through ventilated downlights. It also stops insects, dust and allergens entering living areas through downlights. It prevents acoustic breakdown allowing (RW30 rated) noise isolation. Two cut out sizes fit most common downlights on the market today.

The Transformer Isolator option is for use when fitted to the assembled Downlight Guard. It provides conditions for best downlight function e.g. a fully ventilated transformer with a barrier to insulation. In addition it allows superior insulation cover, with the ceiling uncluttered by transformers (off joists etc.) and mounted within a fire resistant barrier. It safe guards against electronic or iron core transformers overheating or malfunction.
